Ballistic Indoor Golf

Designing the business I also help operate.

Ballistic Indoor Golf · the place behind the project

A website, a booking system, a menu, and the instructions at the door. Reworking the experience of a family business means understanding how all of them meet in one person's visit.

What happens when the person designing the experience also has to make it work in person?

Designing from the questions at the counter.

Ballistic is my family’s business, so the questions behind the website are also questions we meet in person. Which room should a group choose? Does everyone count toward capacity? What should they bring? I wanted the site to answer those questions before they became friction during a visit.

Help someone make the next decision.

The mobile pages follow the visit: understand the spaces, choose a time, prepare, arrive. Booking brings group size and left-handed play into the choice of room. The guides carry that same practical information into what happens before and after a reservation.

Explain the reason behind the rule.

Clean shoes, the right tees, and returning equipment all affect how the next part of the experience works. The copy connects instructions to their consequences: accurate shot tracking, protecting the turf, and making the room ready for the next group. That’s the kind of clarity I care about—enough context for a request to make sense.

A visual system that knows when to speak up.

Navy holds the main decisions, warm paper gives longer instructions room to breathe, and orange draws attention to actions. Real venue and food photography keep the site connected to the place. I want the design to have character while still helping someone get on with their round.
