Will I actually use it?

The part I want to think about is what happens after it arrives.

What would I use it for?

I find a specific situation more useful than “that looks handy.” What was I trying to do? What got annoying? Would this change that?

It can also just be something I like. Enjoying an object is a reason too.

There’s work around using it

Storing it, charging it, cleaning it, putting it away. All of that counts.

The mini massage gun fits in my bag without its case. That makes a difference to whether it comes with me.

I don’t use everything in the box

I tried the different massage-gun heads and mostly stuck with one. Finding and swapping the others felt like extra work when I was already aching.

The kit and the part I actually use are two different things.

Buying it again doesn’t erase the problem

I bought another massage gun after the first one developed a torn covering and later a failed button. I still valued its size. I was still disappointed that it broke.

Both things are true.

What does keeping it useful involve?

I want to know about refills, compatible parts, charging, and replacement. The initial purchase is only part of it.

If I can’t explain where I’d keep it or when I’d reach for it, I probably need to think a bit longer.
