A camera I could keep with me

I bought the Charmera for ordinary moments and kept it clipped to my everyday bag. Its size makes it easy to carry, which is a big part of why it works for me.
Then I have to wait for it to turn on
It works pretty well, but switching it on takes a noticeable wait. It reminds me of an older digital camera.
I haven’t timed it. I just notice the delay when I want to take a picture.
The frames are fun. The preview is tiny.
I like the photo frames, but seeing the picture inside them on such a small screen is harder.
I’d rather have a clearer view while taking the photo and add the frame afterward. That’s something I’d like to try, not a change I’ve tested.
A different mini camera had a different problem
Before this, I had a mini camera from Temu that could switch on when something pressed its button inside my bag. Then the battery would drain.
That happened with the other camera, not the Charmera. But it made me pay attention to where buttons sit on something meant to be carried around.
I still like it overall
I accept that a camera this small has limited functions. I like it overall; I just wish it were ready faster.
The offer recorded with my original review was for a single blind-box design without a memory card. Check the current package and compatible card before ordering.
